No extra tools are required to install this system besides a sectioning comb making it a quick and easy installation. A full head application for these tapes is about 30 minutes and the hair will last over 6 months with maintenance every 1-2 months.

Color and formula

Also, the “root smudge covers half the extension hair which makes me have to custom color majority of my blondes and yes, that’s extra money but I like to work easier sometimes as well. I prefer the smudge to only be about two inches down. Not half way down the wefts. Another thing I’ve noticed is, there has been minimal shedding and fall apart for the wefts. Hi Emily, thank you for the recommendations! With the formula, we do not have set formulas we can provide that work with the professional brands, we recommend utilizing your color book with swatches to find one that matches it, but most stylists are finding extensions to match a color they have already created for their client. In regards to the darker roots, if you order any that start with OM, that is Ombre and it does go half way down, but if you are only wanting around two inches of smudge, you want to look for the colors that start with a R, that is our rooted and it only goes down 2-2.5 inches. Do not get HL-M

I’ve only had hair locs extensions and i love them so much. Never had any issues with color, quality, shipping, etc. that being said, my poor review is because of the color of the HL-M extensions. de extensions for pops of color it just made it look like my blonde was green from a chlorine pool, they lasted a week before i had them taken out. I’m so disappointed that i spent money on these in hopes for a cute pop of color and got extensions that looked so cheaply colored. Read Less

Terrible communication between email and phone calls .

on them . I washed one time and had 13 come out first wash not to mention ALL of the dark cherry had to be retaped before we could even install because they were not sticky at all . Those didn't even stay in . The first attempts to reach out were met with which seemed like computer responses. And when I called the first time I was told someone would call me back and no one did . When I lost so many the first wash I called and the said the would reach out to management and call me back ..... The resolution? To replace the tape and 20% off my next order.... I won't be ordering again . No compensation for the hundreds of dollars and time I have spent.... What if this was a client and not me as a stylist ??????? You lose one client you possibly lose ten others ... This company obviously doesn't care . Me not my stylist friend will no longer use this company. Read Less

Tape-in

Extensions would not stay in my clients hair and she was very upset. I’ve never had this happen before and when I called the company and ask to speak to somebody nobody ever called me back. I will never order from hairlocs again
